Obituary for Larry V. Eicher

Larry V. Eicher, 80, of Mooresville, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 2, 1939 to Cyril H. and Mildred V. (Neuenschwander) Eicher in Fort Wayne. He married Margaret Ellen "Marge" (Shaffer) Eicher on July 11, 1964.

Larry is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Marge Eicher of Mooresville; five loving children, Bob (Debbie) Claprodt of Mooresville, Alan (Cathi) Eicher of Mooresville, Brian (Debbie) Eicher of Greenwood, Tracy (Steve) Milby of Louisville, KY and Pete (Crista) Eicher of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Adam Claprodt, Jared (Natalie) Claprodt, Cyli Hart, Alysia (Elijah) Legler, Ashton Eicher, Austen Eicher, Whitley Eicher, Charis Eicher and Hudson Eicher; one great-grandson, Micah Claprodt; and a brother, Wendell (Pat) Eicher. Larry is preceded in death by his parents.

Larry has been a self employed Piano Technician for 60 years. He was a member of Grace Missionary Church in Mooresville. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Ft. Wayne Bible College and his Master's Degree in Organ from Indiana University in Bloomington. He was very competitive, loved to play games, enjoyed following the Pacers, Colts, IU and the Detroit Tigers. He loved his Lord and loved serving him in any way possible. He played the keyboard at church for many years. He especially loved his family vacations. He lived in Mooresville for most of his life and his birthplace of Ft. Wayne for 20 years.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11th and 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12th at Jones Crossing, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Jim Taylor will officiate Larry's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12th at Jones Crossing.
