Obituary for Alison Nicole Rackley Collins

Alison Nicole Rackley Collins, 22, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2017. She was born to Richard (Dickie) D. Jr. and Stephanie L. (Gray) Rackley on October 10, 1994 in Danville. She attended Franklin Central and Beech Grove High School, graduating in 2013. She married Brandyn Collins on August 1, 2015.

Alison enjoyed playing the cello and spending time with family and friends. She loved her pets. She lived in the Indianapolis area most of her life. She had an infectious smile that could light up a room.

Alison is survived by her loving parents, Richard Jr. and Stephanie Rackley of FL; husband, Brandyn Collins of Crawfordsville; a brother, DJ Rackley of Indianapolis; grandparents, Steve and Jill Gray of Greenwood, Dick and Kim Rackley of Indianapolis, Sue and Mark Brown of Indianapolis; great-grandparents, LaDonna Gray of West Lafayette, Helen Safewright of Indianapolis; and also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 2- 8 p.m. on Friday, May 5 and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate Alison's celebration of life service at 10 a.m on Saturday, May 6 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center. She will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

Contributions may be made to the Alison Rackley Collins family fund with checks written to Richard Rackley Jr., 9767 Huntsman Path, Pensacola, FL 32514 with hopes of helping other young women.
