Condolence From: Jerrod Feldman
Condolence: The Gilbert's welcomed me into their home while I was in school and gave me support while I was far from my own family. Still brings a grin to my face thinking about sitting at the table with John and Mary while sharing a meal with them, helping around the farm with John and Johnny. Sure miss those days and wish the distance hadn't kept me away so long. So sorry for the world's loss but happy for John and Mary together again.

Condolence: Sending are deepest Love and Sympathy to the Gilbert family! What great role model‘s Big John, Mary, an the entire Gilbert family have been to me an my family, I’m sure many more as well..
Selfless an loving always!
Growing up helping them on their farm was such a huge blessing looking back.
Big John was quick to suggest a smarter way to work, or a good story that had a great life lesson hiding in it. He was like a Grandfather to me. Mary, The Sweetest Woman there ever was. You knew while speaking with her that she truly honestly, deeply cared. She had such a gentle kindness and love about her. She would always have a huge lunch prepared, and joyful to do so. She wasn’t shy, reminding you of your manners if you forgot to take your hat off before you sat at the dinner table or whatever the case. To this day a constant reminder for me.
To the entire Gilbert family, you guys have all been such a blessing in mine an my family’s lives, so many memories.
John an Mary went out of their way to enrich the lives of others. Perfect role models for the rest of us. I’m thankful and blessed to have them in my heart.

Condolence: Most of my childhood was spent at the Gilbert home! I remember my brother and I staying with Mrs. Gilbert when all the guys went hunting, just to keep her company. She smiled and laughed and was always a bright part of my childhood. Fly high Mrs. Gilbert, enjoy your reunion with Mr. Gilbert! Your family made me realize at a very young age that family isn't always and doesn't always have to be blood.

David, Dodie, Pam and Johnny, my thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear of this.

I knew Mary through her daughter Pam, and from the moment I met her she was warm and kind to me, welcoming me into her home and treating me as one of her own. I haven't seen her in almost 20 years, but I have vivid memories of her smile and her mannerisms. I will never forget the affection she showed me. She made me feel special, and for that I am deeply appreciative.

My deepest condolences to my Indiana family. I share your grief, and trust that you will find peace in knowing what a good heart she had and how much she was loved.

Condolence From: QM
Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. It’s always a painful tragedy to lose a loved one in death. It saddens us to think that we may never see our loved one’s smile again or hear their laughter again. But God has promised all of us that one day death will not exist and that we will see our dead loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry. nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I hope that this brings your family a measure of solace during this difficult time. If you have more questions about the Bible and its promises, please feel free to contact me.
