Obituary for Charlotte Sue Egler

Charlotte Sue Egler, 45, of Camby, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 with family by her side. She was born July 7, 1972 in Huntingburg, IN to Francis and Vanita Jane (Wallis) Egler. She married Dawn (Drew) Egler on April 17, 1999.

Charlotte grew up in Ferdinand, IN and spent most of her life in Camby, IN.

Charlotte was a 1990 graduate of Forest Park High School in Ferdinand, IN. She continued her education at Purdue University and in 1995 she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry.

Most recently, Charlotte was a sales rep for United Health Care in Indianapolis for about 8 years. She was also a very passionate YCAT Yoga Instructor.

Charlotte was a member of Life Journey Church in Indianapolis; member of the Master Swim Team; participated and cycled with the Cure Chasers; participated in several Spartan Warrior Dashes, Go Girls and other triathlons. Charlotte was also an advocate for St. Jude Children's Hospital and was the top fundraiser in November of 2014.

Charlotte is survived by her spouse, Dawn (Drew) Egler of Camby; son, Drew Allen Egler of Camby; parents, Francis and Vanita Jane (Wallis) Egler of Ferdinand, IN; siblings: Lisa (Derrell) Kellems of Indianapolis, Theresa Egler of Ferdinand, IN, Mary Egler of Ferdinand, IN and Eric Egler of Los Angeles, CA; nieces and nephews: Katie, Craig and Christa Kellems, Zach Boyer, Blake Egler, Grace Egler and several other nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial gathering from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Life Journey Church 2950 E. 55th Place, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Rev. Ampy and Pastor Jeff Miner will officiate the celebration of life memorial service at the church following the gathering at 6 p.m. Services are entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
