Brooklyn Hope Acton, seven months old, of Camby, Indiana passed away on November 12, 2017 at her home.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Brooklyn will be laid to rest next to her brother, Patrick James Acton, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.

Brooklyn was born April 12, 2017 in Michigan City, Indiana. Brooklyn had many challenges in her short life and spent the first five months of her life in the NICU and PICU at Riley Hospital for Children. Her medical conditions prevented her from having a normal childhood and soon after coming home, her illness overcame her body. She went to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ in the evening of November 12, 2017 while at home and surrounded by her loving family.

Brooklyn is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Norman Dean Memenga and her brother, Patrick James Acton.

Brooklyn is survived by her parents, Aaron C. and Kelli M. (Pitts) Acton; three brothers and four sisters: Austin, Hailee, Britnee, Aaron, Justin, Catherine and Jasmine; grandparents: Charlene Memenga and Michael Pitts, and James and Linda Acton.
