Elfie E. "Rusty" (Day) Jones, 84, of Camby, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2017. She was born to Francis E. and Laura E. (Ogle) Day on January 22, 1933 in Brown County. She attended Decatur Central High School.

Elfie was a hair stylist and owner/operator of Mr. and Ms. Hairstyling for 20 years, retiring in 2000. She was a wonderful mother and Nana. She enjoyed dancing and called square dances in Monrovia. She lived in West Newton for most of her life and Camby since 2000.

Elfie is survived by two loving daughters, Treva Jones of Venice, FL and Kelley Graves of Brownsburg; four grandchildren, Patrisha Anderson, Michael Jones, Jennifer Polen and Cory Farmer; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Norma Jean (Day) Mabrey and Lois Ann (Day) Reeves.

Chris Mallot will officiate Elfie's Celebration of Life memorial service at 12 noon on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Water's Edge, which meets at Sullivan Munce Cultural Center, 225 W. Hawthorne St., Zionsville, IN 46077. All are welcome to attend the regular church service at 10:30 a.m.
