The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Barbara Robbins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Our friend, Barbara Robbins

To the Dear Family of Barbara Robbins:

Barbara is already missed by many residents and staff at the Hearth at Stones Crossing in Greenwood.  Everyone there has been shocked by her sudden passing.

We will miss her greatly.  It has been our pleasure to take her to Mt. Auburn UMC since Easter this year.  Due to her back problems I offered her my arm to assist her in walking to our worship area - after a short time, my husband began offering his arm and I'm sure she preferred his assistance!

My mother will certainly miss her in their exercise classes 3 times each week and, more importantly, her companionship and friendship at mealtimes.

Also I will miss her coming with me to our Prayer Shawl Ministry meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday mornings, also at Mt. Auburn.

Barbara was a delightful lady, showing great courage and faith, after recently receiving a serious diagnosis.  She was ready for treatment and determined to remain active and involved with her family and friends.

She was instrumental in starting a knitting group at the Hearth.  Her talent was evident in her finished projects and she had plans to try new patterns and crafts.  She had been knitting lovely kitchen accessories to be given as Christmas gifts to her family.

Sadly, our friendship was too brief, but our loving bond with her was very strong and we will remember her always.

You, her family, will be in our prayers as you mourn her unexpected passing.

Blessings from Anna Lee Stull, Roger and Gayle Robey
