Sharon E.  Small (Swanson)
Sharon E. (Swanson) Small, 50, of Camby, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2017. She was born to Melvin and Mary (Hess) Swanson on January 20, 1967 in Danville. She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1985. She married James R. Small on August 10, 1996.

Sharon was a Special Education Administrative Assistant for Mooresville Consolidated Schools for 17 years and previously worked for Mooresville Federal Savings and Loan as a Personal Banker. She was a member of Life Pointe Community Church in Mooresville. She lived in Mooresville for most of her life.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, James Small of Camby; four loving children, Joshua (Lindsey) Swanson of Edinburgh, Megan Small of Camby, Maryssa Small of Camby and Jake Small of Camby; two grandchildren, Addison and Andrew of Edinburgh; loving mother, Mary (Hess) Swanson of Mooresville; two sisters, Sandy (Darrel) Trisler of Mooresville and Sharla (Ronald) Yerden of Mooresville; and two brothers, Roger (Teresa) Swanson of WV and Steven (Christi) Swanson of Clayton. Sharon is preceded in death by her father.

Family and friends may gather for calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 and 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Rev. Scott Casto will officiate Sharon's celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Sharon will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
