Obituary for Carole Ann Shotts (Harrison)
Carole Ann (Harrison) Shotts, 76, of Avon, Indiana passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2017 with family by her side. She was born November 2, 1940 in Indianapolis to Ronald and Lillian (Leonard) Harrison. She married Dan Shotts Sr. on August 30, 1963.
Carole was a 1958 graduate of George Washington High School. Following high school she took residence in Camby where she lived most of her life as a homemaker. She especially loved spending time with her family but she also loved photography, art and her dogs.
Carole is survived by 2 sons: Dan (Becky) Shotts Jr. of Avon and David (Polly) Shotts of Indianapolis; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Carole is also preceded in death by her parents; husband and 1 grandson.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. The celebration of life service will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Carole will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to Susan B. Komen Foundation 3500 Depaw Blvd. Suite 2070 Indianapolis, IN 46268.
